Undergraduates Meet Professionals at 2018 Career Panel
On October 24 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. there was an undergraduate career panel in the Balas Atrium. At this event there was a panel discussion and informal networking for students to meet and chat with industry professionals. John Weyrauch, AEM Professor of Design, was the moderator for the panel. The panel members included Nicholas Kraus, a Senior GNC Engineer at BAE Systems; Christopher Gosch, a Systems Engineer at Northrop Grumman; Mary Jo Hoffman, a former Director of Engineering at Honeywell and now a successful photographer featured in “Artful Living; Scott Snyder, who is currently the Product and Test Engineer Manager at Honeywell; and Laura Mills, who is the Principal Systems Design Engineer at Starkey Hearing Technologies
Every fall, students gather to enjoy pizza, meet with these professionals, and gain valuable career advice along with tips on job searching and how to be successful from AEM alumni now working in the field.
