Women in Aviation International to visit AEM
Women in Aviation International (WAI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of women in all aviation career fields and interests. WAI promotes public understanding of the accomplishments and contributions of women in aviation. Its diverse membership includes astronauts, corporate pilots, maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers, business owners, educators, journalists, flight attendants, high school and university students, air show performers, airport managers and many others.
On Monday February 5 one of the Minnesota chapters of this organization, Stars of the North, will hold an information session in the Balas Atrium from 4:30-5:30pm. All CSE students are welcome to come and learn about how to become a member, aviation education, and networking and community engagement opportunities. Information about the upcoming WAI Conference in Reno, NV in March 2018 will also be provided.
